Several thousands of people are protesting at Macedonian National Assemby (Sobranie) in Skopje today. The building of Sobranie has been blocked for hours by supporters of both position and opposition political parties which participate in Sobranie.

The situation is very dramatic. The Speaker of Sobranie has been evacuated. The regular parlaiment session couldn`t start because the members of Sobranie didn`t allow it.

The demonstrators outside hit each other with both bottles and stones. Police try to keep the control but with small success.

The opposition demonstrators are angry because they are not happy with budget which the government suggested to parlaiment. On the other hand, the position demonstrators are furious because the opposition parties have been blocking budget adopting in parliament. Obviously, the political parties in Sobranie didn`t manage to make democratic dialogue so the people went on the streets.

The leader of opposition parties Branko Crvenkovski said he don`t quit until the suggested budget is rejected.
